New Panerai Collector's Set: Luminor Daylight & Luminor Black Seal “Pre-V” Luxury Watches

he Officine Panerai luxury watch brand has presented a special gift set that includes the Luminor Daylight 8 Days Acciaio and Luminor Black Seal 8 Days Acciaio DLC. These original remakes of the "Pre-V" model are offered as a collector's set under the Panerai name PAM 785 with the total number of only 500 pieces. These Panerai luxury watches known as the "Pre-Vendome" models were developed before the company became a part of Vendome Group that was the predecessor of Richemont. For obvious reasons, such watches are highly collectible and also very expensive pieces. Between the year 1993, when the watch collection was first designed not only for military use, and the year 1997, when the brand was bought by the Richemont Group, Panerai produced just a few hundred fine watches, which in course of time have become extremely valuable cult objects for most of the enthusiastic collectors.

This set inspired by the outstanding representative of the pre-Vendome era consists of two high-end watches: Luminor Black Seal and Luminor Daylight. It was developed in 1996 specially for Sylvester Stallone – an American actor and also a great admirer of the Panerai brand, who was involved in the “Daylight” movie at that time. The PAM 785 set comes in a wooden box made of pear. It is a Panerai in-house manual winding caliber with power reserve of eight days. Moreover, these timepieces feature a solid case back engraved with the "Officine Panerai Firenze" inscription and come with the same for both models straps in the Pre-V style with sewn-in buckles. Being conservatives and followers of traditional watchmaking, the Panerai luxury watch brand has presented amazing watches in a beautiful box supplemented with a variety of accessories.
